Busy Weekend!
The band members and directors were very busy this weekend! The CHS Marching Syrupmakers traveled to Disney/MGM to march in the Magic Music Days parade AND quite a few 6th grade band members from Whigham, Washington and Shiver participated in an Honor Clinic.
Of course, Solo and Ensemble is only a few weeks away with Spring Concerts and Graduation coming up fast! There are trips to be taken and banquets to be held also. Marching aka football season is always a busy time but the end of the year is busy too! With 5 bands whose members range from 6th through 12th grade - there's usually SOMETHING going on - or someone is getting ready for something.
So ..... check back! There's ALWAYS something happening!
Grady County Bands Are Superior!
Of course, those of us involved with any of the bands in Grady County already knew they were superior, but now ..... we have ratings from Festival to back us up! Check out each band's page to get the details! Picures will be up within the week!
Congratulations to all 5 bands and to Mr. Folsom, Mr. Ventura, Mr. Ballew and Mrs, Parisi. I heard all the bands perform and enjoyed each and every performance!
